Welcome to the official website of Ensemble Inégal, a Czech baroque vocal-instrumental ensemble based in Prague. The internationally renowned ensemble has as its key mission the rediscovery and rehabilitation of the work and personality of Jan Dismas Zelenka (1679 – 1745). It has performed at festivals such as Prague Spring, Musica Antiqua Brugge, Oude Muziek Utrecht, Lufthansa Festival of baroque music London, De Bijloke Gent, Early Music Festival Stockholm, BachFest Leipzig, Tage alter Musik Regensburg and many others. He has made 25 recordings that have received numerous awards, such as Diapason d’Or, Diapason Découverte, Record Review Outstanding, Goldberg 5Stars, etc. The ensemble regularly appears on Czech and foreign television and radio stations (BBC, European Broadcasting Union EBU, BR, Deutschlandradio Kultur, Czech Television, etc.). Its artistic director and conductor is Adam Viktora.

We finished recording the new CD!

You can look forward to two of Zelenka’s works that we recently performed at a concert at the Church of St. Simon and Jude. Missa Circumcisionis ZWV 11 was given its Czech premiere and Litaniae de Venerabili Sacramento ZWV 148 was given its world premiere.
